I am from Chicago Illinois.
When I was a child we didn’t have windchill.
You got what the thermometer said you got.
30 below zero was 30 below zero.

We didn’t have a weather man
telling us it was cold or if the wind blows.
And if it was a school day
we went.

True, people died.
But, we stepped up to the challenge.
We put on two or three pair of pants jacket in a cool put newspaper in our boots.
And play in the snow.

If you live in an area where it snows every year
like Chicago, New York, or Boston, get over it.
You did it last year and you do it again.
Because you’re badass.
